DATR – What people are saying

Death at the Races is available as an e-book on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iTunes. The paperback will be available in April. Here’s what readers are saying:

“Love her books!! This is so great to read, makes you feel like you are in the country [England] and is full of surprises. Well written by a great author.” – Sandie

“What a great read! The author’s attention to detail shines through every page. I loved the thoughtful, colorful descriptions of the characters and the setting; it made me feel as though I was right alongside the detectives each step of the case. The only drawback is having to wait until the next book comes along!” – Melissa

“This is such a great story…it grabs you from the first paragraph and pulls you into the lives of Rodney Wilson and his new bride trying to have a honeymoon. You would expect to see this on Masterpiece Mysteries. It is very well written and one of those “can’t put it down” books. Enjoyed it very much. I also enjoyed her first book “Death Before Breakfast”. Love a good mystery and didn’t solve either one! Can’t go wrong with this one!” – Susan

“I read “Death Before Breakfast – An Inspector Lawrence Mystery – Book 1” and loved it but I love “Death at the Races – An Inspector Lawrence Mystery – Book 2″ even more. The characters personalities blossom in this second book. Gwyneth’s style of writing is intriguing and the surprise ending was unforeseen. I’m hoping Gwyneth has started on another Inspector Lawrence mystery. I’m rooting for Inspector Rodney Wilson to prove himself in future cases and become as seasoned as the Chief Inspector. A side note: I’m addicted to learning the British English language. Being a native Idahoan, I have no idea what some words mean as I’m reading. Thank you Kindle dictionary for helping me follow this charming and fun to read language! I also learned a lot about horse racing by reading Book 2. Very well researched.” – NAC
